Do you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsatisfied? Do you wish you could make changes in life, but aren’t sure how? It’s normal. Almost everyone feels this way at some point. The good news is that you can get unstuck and back to living well.
Like a lot of people, I like to solve my challenges on my own. But I know from my own personal experience that working with a coach or counselor is often shortest path to progress.
As a coach and counselor here in Denver, Colorado, I help my clients take stock of their lives and relationships, figure out what is holding them back or what is missing, and start crafting a life that is enjoyable, satisfying, and meaningful.
For Men: Find purpose & satisfaction
Let’s be honest. As men, it can take us a while to ask for directions, much less ask for help. It makes it harder that counseling and coaching are so oriented toward women. Many men, regardless of their age or achievements, carry a sense that life ought to be more satisfying, meaningful, or enjoyable. I know what it’s like. Sometimes this sense shows up as a mid-life crisis, and sometimes it shows up in daily frustration, anger, or substance abuse. I want you to know that it’s normal and that with a little ‘assist’, you can get unstuck, find purpose and satisfaction, and get back to enjoying life. LEARN MORE
For Couples: Get close again
Few of us get into a romantic relationship expecting to have big problems. We think to ourselves, we’ll be different. But when the honeymoon is over, or when the relationship loses its newness, something happens. Whether it’s about sex, money, kids, or chores, many of us fall into painful cycles of conflict and lose our sense of closeness. If that’s you, you may feel disappointed and confused, not sure if you can get back to the way you used to be. The good news is that there is a way back to what was lost, or forward to something better. If you’re ready to reconnect, heal, and rebuild your relationship, I can help you do it through couple’s or marriage counseling.
For Individuals: Heal & grow
I also provide coaching and counseling to adolescents or adults of any gender for a range of standard concerns, such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, trauma, addiction, relationships, and so on. I offer kindness, a listening ear, and practical expertise to help you overcome these challenges.
Counselor & Coach in Denver, Colorado
After 15 years working with computers in corporate America, I completed a Master’s degree in Counseling and began working with people who want to make their lives better. I know first hand what it’s like to go to work, raise a family, go to church, spend time with friends, do hobbies – all the normal activities of American life – and yet wonder if life can be more enjoyable, more satisfying, more meaningful. I realized I didn’t want to just solve this problem for myself, but I wanted to help others find their solutions, too.
I’ve lived an unusually varied life, living overseas, trying different careers, meeting people from different careers and backgrounds. This helps me understand my clients and help them feel comfortable, regardless of who they are and where they are from.
It would be an honor to hear from you. Working together, we’ll figure out the missing pieces to make your life what you need it to be.
